First day with braces.

Hi my name is Iyana and I'm going to be making a blog during my process of having braces. I have a slight underbite and huge open bite which causes speech problems and other issues. Today I got ceramic (clear braces) on top and the traditional on my bottom row. I will be posting on my blog every few weeks, or months to update you on how everything is going. As of right now I will just be having braces for the next few months then I will have to undergo surgery to correct my open bite. Below I will post a picture of me before my braces and then a picture to show you what my braces look like and how wide my gap is. In the picture of me before I got braces you will notice you can only see my top row of teeth since my open bite is so large. Feel free to ask questions, thanks.
